CCS complies with the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the US Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information from European Union member countries. CCS has certified that it adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles. CCS commits to cooperate with EU data protection authorities (DPAs) and comply with the advice given by such authorities with regard to human resources data transferred from the EU in the context of the employment relationship.

The Federal Trade Commission has jurisdiction over our compliance in regard to all Privacy Shield Principles.

It is important to note, under certain limited conditions, you may invoke binding arbitration before the Privacy Shield Panel when other dispute resolution procedures have been exhausted. Information Collected and How We Use It

Depending on the settings of the website you are using, CCS may collect data such as name, mailing address, email address, phone number, how someone found the website, biometric data and other relevant information for the purpose of preliminary screening for clinical trials, to measure our efforts to increase awareness of a trial and for reasons relevant to the needs of a clinical trial. CCS will take appropriate steps to protect data from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. We safeguard data collected by putting procedures in place to safeguard and secure it. CCS cannot guarantee the security of information on or transmitted via the internet.

In accordance with most websites, CCS gathers information automatically which is stored. Depending on the configuration of the website, this information may include IP addresses, browser type, internet service provider, referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp and/or clickstream data.
